As we reflect on a decade of trust, talent and teamwork, we want to begin with a heartfelt thank you. To our incredible clients - thank you for trusting us to be part of your learning journeys. To our talented team - thank you for bringing your brilliance, creativity, and care to everything we do. And to everyone who has supported Kane Learning along the way - thank you for allowing us to do this deeply meaningful and interesting work.

In celebration of this anniversary, we sat down with our founder and CEO, Cassie Kane, to reflect on the company’s journey, share insights for fellow entrepreneurs, and look ahead to what’s next.

Q: Kane Learning has grown into a boutique consulting firm known for its customized learning and communication solutions. What do you think has been the key to sustaining that growth over the past decade?

A: Our growth has always been fueled by our people. We have a team of curious, caring experts who bring deep experience, creativity, and heart to every partnership. They’re constantly learning, stretching, and finding new ways to help our clients – and each other – grow. That commitment to growth and quality is what’s kept Kane Learning moving forward year after year.

Q: You’ve spoken about the importance of strategic vision and a growth mindset. Can you share a moment when those values helped you navigate a challenge in the business?

A: There’s a moment that stands out from a few years ago, when our business was growing faster than our internal systems could keep up. It would’ve been easy to keep doing what we’d always done—but that’s not growth. We took a step back, looked honestly at where we were, and made some tough choices about what needed to change.

Having a clear strategic vision helped us see the bigger picture—where we wanted to go and why. And a growth mindset kept us open to learning as we built new structures, roles, and ways of working. It wasn’t always comfortable, but it reminded me that growth rarely is. That experience reinforced something I deeply believe: the same principles we teach about leadership—clarity, curiosity, and continuous learning—are exactly what sustain our own success as a company.

Q: Your work emphasizes empowering people to grow and lead in fast-paced environments. What advice would you give to new entrepreneurs trying to build something meaningful in today’s climate?

A: Start with purpose and people. It’s easy to get caught up in speed, scale, and strategy—and those matter—but meaning comes from knowing why you’re doing what you’re doing and who you’re doing it with.

My advice is to stay curious, keep learning, and surround yourself with people who challenge and inspire you. Growth today requires agility and humility—you have to be willing to experiment, listen, and adjust as you go.

And don’t underestimate the power of relationships. Every meaningful outcome I’ve seen—whether in business or leadership—has started with trust, respect, and a genuine desire to help others grow. If you keep those things at the center, you’ll build something that lasts.

Q: You’ve built a team of highly accomplished professionals at Kane Learning. What do you look for when bringing someone onto the team, and how do you foster a culture of collaboration and growth?

A: Many of the people on our team are individuals I’ve had the privilege of working with in past chapters of my career. Those relationships, built on trust, respect, and a shared commitment to great work, have been the foundation for Kane Learning’s growth.

When we bring someone new onto the team, I look for more than expertise—I look for curiosity, integrity, and a genuine care for people. We do our best work when we collaborate with humility and a shared sense of purpose.

Fostering that culture takes intention. We create space to learn from one another, to ask questions, and to celebrate growth—both individual and collective. The result is a team that’s not only accomplished, but also deeply connected and always evolving together

Q: As Kane Learning celebrates 10 years, what are you most proud of—and what’s next for the company?

A: I’m most proud of the impact we’ve had on people—the clients who’ve grown their leadership and confidence, the teams who’ve found new ways to collaborate and lead, and the incredible professionals who’ve chosen to be part of Kane Learning’s journey. Watching people discover what they’re capable of—and knowing we had a hand in that—is incredibly rewarding.

As we look ahead, we’re focused on continuing to evolve how we help organizations grow through their people. That means expanding our learning experiences, deepening our coaching practice, and using technology in smarter ways to make development more accessible and personal.

At the heart of it, our purpose hasn’t changed: we help people grow so organizations can thrive. The next decade is about building on that foundation with even greater reach, connection, and impact.

So as we mark 10 years, we’re not just looking back. We celebrate the people, the purpose, and the possibilities ahead.

Cassie shared that what she’s most proud of isn’t just the programs or partnerships—it’s the people. The leaders who’ve grown in confidence, the teams who’ve found new ways to collaborate, and the professionals who’ve brought their whole selves to Kane Learning. That’s the real impact.

To everyone who’s been part of this journey—thank you. Here’s to the next chapter, and all the ways we’ll continue to learn and grow together.

“This milestone belongs to all of us. I’m deeply grateful for the relationships we’ve built and excited for all the ways we’ll continue to grow together in the years ahead.”
